'Stamped from the beginning', based on the ideas in Dr Ibram X Kendi’s book is an everyone must see documentary, with interviews and narrative given by historians and academics. 

Largely about the root of the racism idea, execution and where we are in America, but all over the world. 

How tanned to dark skin was commandeered to empower enslaving darker people. How ideas developed over time to give credence to a societal structure, keep it manageable and in operation.

It's real. It's intelligent. It's forward.

Black America once again delivering work leading the change narrative in how we view this power structure that so many of us buy into and allow to exist. 

Beginning posing the question "-What is wrong with black people?"

And ends with the answer, "-Nothing.....

-The only thing wrong with black people is we think there is something is wrong with black people."

All the in between serves as nourishment and progression of the present human mind around this topic.

The music used by Music Supervisor Amani 'Burt Blackarach' Smith is outstanding and adds to the execution of the ideas and moves the narrative into an etched position in the audiences mind. Whilst reflecting the narrative of the documentary and moving the historical journey into a modern palatable casing. The clever placing and choice of the sounds enhance the reach out of the documentary to a younger audience.

The chosen innovative animation style and visual is also a great story telling aid throughout. 

What is pleasing is painting in clarity the myths involved in subjugating a people and where we are used on mass to ensure power retains its position, where we are manipulated into doing others biding.
