Nattu Daoud currently directs an arts & academic enrichment program at UCLA(Department of Cultural and Recreational Affairs) where he started UCLA's first ever deejay program coupled with a music production and recording class. He is also seen frequently keeping parties lives for various Los Angeles night clubs and lounges. Nattu was born in Harlem in one of the most revolutionary decades in the history of American music, and became an avid record collector at an early age. With a trumpeting grandfather, a guitar‐stringing mother, and older cousins and brothers that exposed his young soul to hip hop, Nattu’s curiosities naturally lead him to the turntables.
Nattu began recording and producing hip hop tracks in college with renowned recording engineer Troy Gonzalez (Sony Studios, Santa Monica/TK Studios, Hawaii) and soon graduated to mixing and spinning. DJ Nattu Daoud Los Angeles, CA and continues to hone his craft and his unique taste and extensive knowledge of hip hop, 80s rock, Latin jazz, jazz‐funk, boogaloo, reggae, boogie, soul, break-beat, rare groove, R&B, and fusion. His Unique taste, and ability to read a crowd have garnered him worldwide acclaim. His long list of clients and gigs are a testament to DJ Nattu Daoud’s skill and talent, the same skill and talent that keeps the crowds pleased and wanting more.
