Charity Music Events - Plug and Play Festival and Music For Life
The first charity event of this kind in the UK, inspired by the event 'Thanksgivends' an annual giving event in Los Angeles which international artists and some of the best DJs, producers, promoters and industry volunteers come together to benefit charities. The event is something that every year LA artists looked forward to, this charitable and giving attitude gave the event an atmosphere like no other experienced before. It springs from a drive and spirit towards linking creative passions with charitable causes and having a place where the industry can get together, unite and collaborate once a year.
Unifunk wanted London to experience this event full of the essence of giving, amazing music, bringing London’s underground, emerging and established music scene together.
Up to 50 artists over 2 days or 50 artists and one night giving back to the community through music and the arts.

The Root Down

Footage from the Beats, Rhymes and Life official movie release party at Exchange LA on July 7, 2011 in Downtown Los Angeles. Hosted by Michael Rapaport with performances from Phife and VJ sets by Peanut Butter Wolf and Prince Paul as well as DJ sets from Madlib and KCRW's Garth Trinidad.
Smif n Wessun
A special 20th-anniversary concert for the Smiff n Wessun Hip Hop classic album,'Dah Shinin' and Sean P tribute to pay homage to the Hip Hop legend after his recent passing. The London show was organised late on the tour, with Unifunk bringing London's best promoters together for this special event. Pulling a team and event together in 10 days, with just 7 days promotional time. Working on this one was thoroughly enjoyable and worth every sweat drop...!

Live music album showcases
Unifunk Entertainment has created the Eel Pie Island Unplugged Sessions to bring legendary music back to Eel Pie Island in association with Twickenham Rowing Club. The sessions were an opportunity for fans, press, fellow artists and members of the media industry to experience first-hand the latest work future/legendary artists have been developing.
The artists present music exclusively played for the first time on Eel Pie Island.
In an intimate setting, the audience and acts come together to share an evening of stories and new music from great talent.
