From running house parties in West London in the eighties,  doing a crazy
house party with Norman Jay '84 in Acton leading to the Shake & Fingerpop
warehouse parties with Judge Jules & Dan Benidict. Meeting Marco Nelson &
forming Young Disciples, bringing Bobby 'I Know You Got Soul' Byrd & The
Original James Brown band over to London '87 to the Town & Country Club
Kentish Town. Meeting Carleen Anderson at the second of those seminal rare-
groove concerts. Releasing Mercury nominated album 'Road To Freedom' '91 on
Gilles Peterson's Talking Loud label through Universal Records. Embarking  on
international dj career including; Australia, St Martin, Japan,Malaysia, Hong
Kong, Czech, Europe & the US.

In '94 he set up the MOBO winning Rotation at Subterainea with the Fugees as
the opening act. Spike Lee, Laurence Fishbourne, Wesley Snipes, Puff Daddy,
Snoop, GURU, Bjork, Goldie & Prince all graced the dancefloor at Rotation. Currently Musical Director @ supperclub London.

With this foundation, his extremely varied collaborations have include All Saints, The Saturdays, Randy Crawford, Justin
Timberlake, Darkman, Mary J. Blige, D'Influence and The Pasadenas. Currently Femi is working with Matti Roots, Ali Bertash,
Charlean Dance, Otiz Ryder, Elizabeth Troy (Talkin' Loud), Shaun Escoffery (Oyster), Kele Le Roc, Lifford David (featured
Artful Dodger vocalist), Blue James (Basement Jaxx/Restless Natives) and Louise Francis. Catch Femi Fem's Radio Show on
Colourful Radio, digital or online, Sunday 12 midnight til 2am.   Femi Fem's musical adventure has always centred around
funky good times. Sometimes it's jazzy, sometimes soulful, sometimes hip hop but always funky.
