Karl’s earliest memories of dance music take him right back to the early 80’s where his initial love for soul, funk, disco and rare groove first developed his appetite for Dijing. This continues to the late 90’s and with the explosion of the dance music scene, karl brought his sound to clubland. Under ‘Speedy’ moniker, he embraced the early House and D&B scene performing at legendary nights such as The Africa Centre, The Wag, The Brain, Fantasy FM (Astoria), Fusion, RAW, AWOL, Desire 200AD, Adrenalin Village and many more.
Continuing to push boundreis and with his captivation with New York house and disco, it wasn’t long before he was promoting his own nights across West London appearing regularly at notting Hill Arts Club, Subterrania, cherry jam, Cobden and the World famous Notting Hill carnival.
Currently fusing a mix of deep house, nu disco and electro-funk he Karl has spent 4 years as a resident at the legendary AKA London for ‘The Players’ with guest appearances at Mulletover, East village, Supper club, The End, The Canal parties, GO!Zilla, Body Talk, Cargo, Neighborhood, The Cobden, Paradise, pasha and Ministry of Sound to name a few.
In 2012 karl continues his monthly residency at Supper Club London and is always busy working on production projects scheduled for releases this year.
