The UK has the best Festivals in the world. We like music and a good knees up.

Notting Hill Carnival is the most popular and best event in the UK, possibly the world for so many reasons. We are still second to Rio De Janeiro in the volume of punters when it comes to the street party, however it is said our sound systems and variety in music is on another level to Rio's celebration. 

If you are from London the musical DNA has a level of diversity unparalleled anywhere else on mass. We might be a little special in terms of our openness to musical sounds.

The closer Notting Hill Carnival comes the more that Carnival feeling creeps in. Sunshine is forecast and more people are changing their noes to yeses. 2 million people are expected, potentially more it being the first in three years and London being a current international hotspot post covid.

This year is going to be different for many reasons. 

At the moment the weather forecast is 25 degrees and sunny so plan your day. With the many Carnivals gone by and many ‘too much too soon’ casualties, bring water. Remember if you are rolling with people it is their Carnival too, as you are navigating around avoid pulling up way too soon. Be good to yourself and take-your-time on the party appendages.
